The temperature may be as high as 39 °C in Şanlıurfa, Southeastern Anatolia Region to -15 C in Erzurum, Eastern Anatolia Region. Some famous movies were filmed in Turkey such as “From Russia with Love” – the Sean Connery James Bond movie, “Journey of Hope”, “orient express” and“Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance”, to name a few.
Istanbul is a haven for shoppers, featuring a wide variety of shops from antique shops to stylish boutiques as well as shopping malls, but you do need to know where to look for the best deals. Being at the centre of western-eastern trade for centuries, there’s a lot on offer from textiles,
